Common Residential Tank Sizes in Ireland:

We Clean All Common Domestic Tank Sizes:

  • Small attic/header tanks (100 – 250 litres)

  • Standard household storage tanks (500 – 1,000 litres)

  • Larger outdoor or underground tanks (1,500 – 5,000+ litres)

How to Measure Your Water Tank

Not sure what size your tank is? Here's a quick guide to help you measure it accurately, whether it's in your attic, garden, or underground.

🧰 What You’ll Need:

  • A tape measure

  • A notepad or phone to jot down the measurements

  • (Optional) A torch for poorly lit spaces

📏Step-by-Step:

  1. Measure the Length
Use the tape measure to find the distance from one end of the tank to the other (in cm or metres).

  2. Measure the Width
Measure the side-to-side distance at the widest point.

  3. Measure the Height (or Depth)
Measure from the base of the tank to the top edge (not including the lid, unless it adds usable space).

  4. Note the Tank Type
Is it plastic or concrete? Indoors or outdoors? This helps us tailor your cleaning service.

💧Tip: If you're unsure or can’t access your tank easily, just give us a call or send a photo—we’ll help identify the size and type for you!
